Biography

CEO of GreenSoil do Brasil Sérgio Veríssimo is a professional with extensive experience in the environmental field, starting his career as a consultant shortly after graduating as an environmental engineer in the early 2000s. Over the years, he has dedicated himself to professional improvement, taking part in various courses and postgraduate courses, the most recent being the Executive Development Program (PMD) at IESE, which enabled him to take on the position of CEO of GreenSoil do Brasil. With more than 10 years' experience, Sérgio Veríssimo has worked as a consultant on a wide range of environmental investigation projects, collaborating with Brazilian and international environmental consultancies. In 2017, he started the activities of the Belgian-Dutch company GreenSoil Group do Brasil, focused on bioremediation projects. In this role, he has led and/or accompanied several bioremediation projects in Latin America and Europe.
