Biography

Dr, Varadhan is a Principal Engineer with more than 15 years of experience in engineering research and consulting including large-scale soil, groundwater, and mine water remediation programs, process engineering design/implementation, in-situ and ex-situ biological and chemical remediation and site strategy development for complex remediation and mine sites and compounds of emerging concern. He has a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering from Anna University, India and a Ph.D in Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois. His primary specialization is in innovative process design and optimization of engineered treatment systems including bioreactors.
