Madji Fall, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Education/TESOL in the Department of Bilingual Education, TESOL, and World Languages at Kean University. Dr. Fall’s research sits at the intersection of race, language, identity, and power. Her transdisciplinary scholarship focuses on critical issues in sociolinguistics and health equity and is grounded in anti-racism and anti-linguicism philosophies aimed at improving minoritized communities’ educational, economic, and health conditions. She advocates for systems, structures, processes, and policies that celebrate the identities of racially, linguistically, and culturally-othered groups and create spaces for increased resilience and opportunity.
