Biography

Tasha Egalite is the best of two worlds: education and mental health. Beginning her career as a social worker in educational institutions helped her to organically marry the two forces; creating complementary pathways. Tasha’s presentation, Ways not to give up on learning a language speaks to what has shaped her research interests. These research interests include TESOL, educational technology, motivation, professional development and relationships. Recent graduate of New Mexico State University, She was a former Peace Corps Volunteer and Fulbright Fellow. Currently, she serves as a Learning and Content coordinator within the Department of Education.
