Biography

Dr. Cynthia Geary joined California State Polytechnic University, Pomona’s Teacher Education Department in 2013. She instructs the multiple subject preparation course, as well as methods and foundation courses. Her areas of research include culturally relevant instruction, culturally and linguistically diverse populations, and gifted youth. She delights in instructing and researching the intersectionality of these interests. She is dedicated to preparing future teachers to cultivate the curiosity and wonder of biliteracy and gifted and talented K-12 youth.
