Biography

Kim Miller started her career in Elementary and Intermediate education. She was an educator in Texas for 16 years, serving 5th-grade students in the classroom as an ELA/SS teacher and teaching Emergent Bilingual students as a Language Acquisition Specialist. She coached core teachers to help them scaffold content and instruction to support differentiation strategies for EB’s. She has a heart for helping educators find engaging resources and for students to increase their language development. Kim recently completed certification in the instruction and implementation of the Science of Reading. Kim is currently a Literacy Engagement Specialist with Vista Higher Learning supporting the Central U.S. Team. She works with districts and educators with product implementation, professional development, and best practice for teachers and students.
