Biography

Viviana’s background as a faculty member and academic director in higher education programs was instrumental in creating GlobalVIDA. This organization designs bilingual classroom strategies that have proven to support hundreds of students in grades Pk – G5 in dual language programs. Her current role in the Presidential Advisory Board at Texas A&M University Commerce targets second language learners academic success by finding and innovating ways to fight against the teacher shortage in bilingual education.
