Biography

Rebekah, a bilingual American with a deep understanding of diverse cultures, brings over 20 years of experience in bilingual education to her role as co-founder of Early Beginnings. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Education with focuses on Intercultural Studies and TESOL, she further pursued a Master of Business Administration and a postgraduate degree in Management, Leadership, and Technology, demonstrating her dedication to both education and strategic growth. She is currently at SDSU in the Dual-Language Masters Program. Throughout her career, Rebekah has left her mark on classrooms, schools, and communities in Iraq, the United States, and Brazil. As a teacher, trainer, and school manager, she has consistently championed holistic bilingual education, enriching the lives of educators, students, and families alike. Rebekah's impact extends beyond direct interaction. Co-founding both Bilinguistas in Brazil and Early Beginnings internationally, she actively shapes the field through various contributions. These include courses like Bilingual Teachers: Essence & Value and Foundations of Bilingual Early Years Education, resource development for NABE's Para Niños course, school coordinator mentorship, consulting work, and advocating for research-based early childhood education practices.
