Biography
Dr. Gort is Professor of Equity, Bilingualism, and Biliteracy and Associate Dean of Students in the School of Education at the University of Colorado Boulder. Her research documents the complex and varied ways that emergent bilingual children use their dynamic linguistic and cultural funds of knowledge to learn and interact with teachers and peers in dual language bilingual education schooling contexts.
