Biography

Holly Kowalkowski is a PhD Candidate at the University of Texas at Austin, with a focus on Bilingual/Bicultural Education. She has a Master's degree in Learning Technology and several years experience teaching in elementary dual language programs. She is interested in the ways that participatory action research can transform the way we think about education, working with communities to imagine and advocate out for new and more equitable futures. She is also generally interested in exploring how technology can enhance teacher, student, and community collaboration and learning, especially within bi-multilingual populations.
