Biography

Talia Howard is currently a third-year doctoral student in Culture, Literacy, and Language at the University of Texas at San Antonio's Bicultural-Bilingual Studies department. She graduated with her B.A. in Spanish (Language, Culture, Literature) and English and her Master of Arts in Teaching from Trinity University in San Antonio. Her background is in secondary education in language arts and social studies. Her teaching experiences and personal learning experiences have influenced her research interests in multiliteracies/multimodal literacies and identity enactment with multilingual adolescents.
