Biography

Annmary Lopez is a dedicated and accomplished Educator and Administrator with a wealth of experience. She began her journey in education as a Dual Language Spanish/English Teacher and continued as a Mathematics & Science Bilingual Educator, where she skillfully nurtured a love of learning among students, tailored instruction, and leveraged data-driven insights to enhance instructional strategies. Annmary's passion for education led her to take on leadership positions. As a District Bilingual Instructional Leader in Nassau County New York, she oversees English as a New Language programs. She also teaches literacy and bilingual courses at NYIT to student teachers pursuing their licensing. Alongside her professional commitments, Annmary remains dedicated to her academic pursuits. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Literacy Studies and an M.S. in Data Science at Hofstra University. She has a double masters in Bilingual Education M.S. and Sociology M.A. at CUNY City College of New York. With certifications in Educational Leadership, Bilingual Education, and Project Management, Annmary possesses a versatile skill set that positions her as an ideal candidate for addressing the ever-evolving challenges in education. Proficient in various tools and platforms, she remains at the forefront of modern instructional methodologies. Outside of her work and studies, Annmary spends her time painting and creating with her curious 9 year old daughter who inspires her everyday.
