Biography

Jennifer is a change leader in K-12 educational systems- cultivating communities as a transformational leader, centering historically marginalized students, revitalizing pedagogy and practices for student success, and reflecting through professional and personal identities. She currently leads at TNTP as an academics director and multilingual practice lead where she specializes in strategic initiatives that improve outcomes for bilingual/ multilingual/indigenous populations and linguistically & culturally-diverse communities. As a practice lead at TNTP, Jennifer supports 700+ staff members across national divisions to build internal capacity and designs consultant resources that center multilingual learners, educators, and their communities. Prior to her role as a consultant, Jennifer served as a dual language school administrator, bilingual instructional specialist, and classroom teacher. She holds a M.Ed in Educational Leadership and B.A. in Interdisciplinary studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She is a caregiver to two emergent bilingual students in public school in San Antonio, Texas.
