Biography

Ms. Guzman received her Master of Education for English Language Learners from Northcentral University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Houston. She currently serves as a Bilingual Instructional Specialist in Aldine ISD in Houston, Texas. She is an AFT ELL National Trainer and a member of the AFT ELL Cadre. As a former Fort Bend AFT President, she advocated for educators, and multilingual and multicultural students and families in her community. She is certified in Bilingual, Special Education, and Gifted and Talented Instruction and strives to inform educators on how to support diverse students in all communities. Her passion is advocating for members of the immigrant community and supporting students in multicultural communities to thrive culturally, academically, and socially.
