Biography

Dr. Regina (Gina) López is an associate professor at the University of Central Oklahoma in the area of Bilingual Education/ TESOL. She is also chair for the Multicultural Education Institute. She has worked at the University of Central Oklahoma since 2000. Gina has also been a facilitator and coordinator in various Federal grants specific to English language learners. Gina has made many local, state and international presentations regarding bilingual education, English as a second language, sheltered instruction, Cultural sensitivity and leadership. She is currently a Co-PI on the NEXUS grant. She is also a singer/songwriter, a member of The Latin Trio, Mariachi López band and Quackadoodledoo.
