Biography

I am a Professor of English for Speakers of Other Language in our teacher preparation program at Florida Gulf Coast University. I also teach in the Multicultural/lingual Education concentration in our doctoral program and serve on dissertation committees. My research interests include effective teacher preparation for teachers of English learners, heritage language maintenance, development of undergraduate research skills, collaborative online international learning (COIL), and social justice issues.
