Born in El Paso, Texas, raised in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. Mrs. Villagrana has taught in dual and bilingual classrooms in Texas and New Mexico respectively. Currently teaching first grade in the bilingual transitional model. Has implemented and adapted Science of Reading strategies for multilingual learners. National board certified teacher in literacy: Reading-Language arts.
