Biography

Mihyun Han is a faculty in the Education department at Hope College. Mihyun obtained her Ph.D. in education at the University of Connecticut. She studied literacy education, ESL/bilingual education, creative teaching and learning. Mihyun is originally from south Korea and there she used to work as an elementary school teacher. In the US, she started her career as an ESL educator teaching secondary emergent bilingual students. As a teacher educator, Mihyun has taught pre-service and in-service teachers at several institutions including the University of Connecticut and Grand Valley State University. At Hope college, Mihyun teaches literacy education and ESL education
