Biography

Dr. Catherine Rodriguez is a visionary educator, a scholar, a leader, and a life-long learner. With a passion for innovation, she thrives on creating and implementing transformative educational programs that enhance student achievement and school culture. Her commitment extends to mentoring teachers, aiming to build their capacity, leadership skills, and character through personalized instructional approaches. Her academic journey began with studies in psychology and English at the University of Puerto Rico, followed by a Master's in Clinical Health Psychology and Counseling from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her doctoral degree at Wilmington University in Delaware focused on enhancing the professional development of dual language teachers. As the Founding Principal of Dreamers Academy, the only K-5 dual language charter school in Sarasota, Florida, Dr. Rodriguez exemplifies educational excellence and leadership.
