Dr. Kelly B. Forbes, also known as Señor Kellito, is a dynamic force in education and the performing arts, with over two decades of experience advocating for inclusive education and cultural diversity. From his extensive roles in education to his passion for the arts, including dancing, acting, and singing, Kelly has made a global impact, promoting cultural exchange and unity through his talents. Since entering the field of education in 2008, Dr. Forbes has held a myriad of roles, each reflecting his unwavering commitment to advancing the lives of students and educators alike. His impressive journey has seen him serve as a Newcomer Teacher, District ELL Facilitator, Title III Director, Instructional Coach, Assistant Principal, Dual Language Head Principal, Director of ESSER (Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief) Innovation and Implementation, Director of Dual Language Education, and is currently an adjunct professor for a the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, OK in their Bilingual Education/TESL program. As the owner of Kelly B’s Consulting, LLC, he supports districts nationwide, elevating academic outcomes for all students, particularly multilingual and multicultural learners. Beyond his professional endeavors, Kelly champions diversity through his Cultural Connections Lab Podcast and lives by the principle of treating others with kindness and respect.
