Biography

Deirdre Beet, after completing her Bachelor of Arts in elementary education degree, taught third grade and kindergarten at a Title I school outside of Washington, DC. After getting her Master of Science in Elementary Mathematics and Reading, she continued her journey to another school where she continued teaching kindergarten. Several years later, she moved back to a Title I school to teach kindergarten and first grade. During this time, she started working in Dual Language Education. Igniting a new-found passion, she started exploring conferences and professional development opportunities. With Serena Keeney-Horsch, she created Dynamic Multilingual Solutions. Today, she is still teaching and also presenting at educational conferences.
