Biography

Omaly Isaaccura has 20 years of experience in education. She has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership with a strong background in literacy and school-community relations. She started her career as a Bilingual and Dual Language teacher. Her experience in education has taken her to different campus and district roles such as Elementary Interventionist, District Literacy Instructional Coach, Specialist for the Multilingual Department, and Elementary Assistant Principal, all in Spring Branch ISD. She holds accreditations in program initiatives such as Dual Language, Abydos Writing, Project GLAD -sheltered instruction, school redesign, PBIS, and professional learning communities (PLCs). Having experience in program initiatives such as Dual Language, balanced literacy, sheltered instruction, school redesign, curriculum writing, and professional learning communities, Omaly has contributed to support Bilingual and Biliteracy development in her school district. She has presented at several conferences at the local, state, and national levels.
