Biography

Dr. Sacha Bennett leads the Advancing Multilingual Learner programming at AVID Center, fostering college readiness for all, especially historically marginalized students. She has a background spanning secondary literacy coaching, teacher specialization, Title I program facilitation, curriculum development, and professional learning facilitation. Sacha holds a Bachelor's in Theatre, a Master's in Educational Leadership from California State University, Fullerton, and a doctorate from Vanderbilt University in Leadership and Learning in Organizations. Committed to equitable education, her expertise and passion position her as a catalyst for transformative change in multilingual education and beyond.
