Biography

Lisbeth Banales. Born in Venezuela. She has been in education for 17 years in Houston, Texas. She has taught different grade levels from 1st to 4th grade One Way and Two Way Bilingual programs at Spring Branch and Katy ISD. Also she has had the opportunity to become a Math/ Science Instructional Coach for two years and a Bilingual Specialist at Fort Bend a year after. In 2022, Mrs. Banales joined Dr. Mercuri's Educational Consultant team where she has been able to support multiple school districts across Texas by providing curriculum documents and professional development utilizing Dr. Mercuri research strategies to enhance Emergent Bilingual students' instruction. On the education level, she holds an M.Ed in Leadership in Education for multilingual students and now she's finishing her principal certification.
