Biography

Focusing on high quality support for bilingual teachers and seeking to end the teacher shortage in bilingual education, Viviana's contribution to the field has centered on strengthening the bond between theory and practice. Her efforts have increased both the retention of hundreds of bilingual educators and the number of teacher candidates enrolling in teaching preparation programs of major North Texas universities.
