Biography

Teresa Rodriguez has served Irving ISD for over 10 years in various roles: Reading Academy Cohort Leader, Academic Specialist, K-2 Literacy Specialist, and elementary bilingual teacher. Teresa holds two master’s degrees in Curriculum & Instruction and Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University. Teresa is passionate about continuing to serve Irving through her support of biliteracy, educators, instructional practices, and assessment. She believes in the power of honoring students’ native language and culture while supporting the structured development of their additional language.
