Biography

Massiel Soto has nearly 20 years of experience working in K-12 schools in the state of Illinois. She has worked as a Spanish teacher, ESL teacher, and bilingual program coordinator in both elementary and secondary school settings. Currently, she works as the Dual Language Program Manager for Chicago Public Schools, the third-largest school district in the country. In this role, Massiel supports the implementation and expansion of the 43 dual-language programs in the distric.
