Biography

Dr. Ataide Pinheiro is an Assistant Professor in the Curriculum and Instruction Department in the College of Education at Texas Tech University. Dr. Ataide Pinheiro researches mathematical lessons that optimize students' learning of mathematics. Before joining Texas Tech University, Dr. Ataide Pinheiro taught high school mathematics in public and private schools in Brazil and the United States. Dr. Ataide Pinheiro is a recipient of the 2022 Outstanding Associate Instructor Award from Indiana University and the 2020 MAXQDA Research for Change grant recipient.
