Biography

Ms. Shannon Smith is a Multilingual Learner Coach with SupportEd. She has spent over 20 years working in the field of English Language Development (ELD). Ms. Smith worked directly with Multilingual Learners (MLs) and their families as an ELD teacher for 13 years. Ms. Smith then transitioned to an ELD instructional coach position supporting teachers and district initiatives around MLs before moving into the role of district administrator overseeing the ELD program in a small urban district.
