Biography

Nelly Patiño-Cabrera is a highly experienced bilingual educator who specializes in teaching both English and Spanish. Currently, she works as a program coordinator and instructor at Oregon State University while pursuing her doctoral degree at Portland State University. Her research focuses on equity in dual language bilingual education, with one line of study examining the work experiences of Dual Language Bilingual Education teachers and another concentrating on dual language education policies. She also serves as the Vice President of the Oregon Association for Bilingual Education.
