Biography

Rocío Trejo was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She attended Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) and is now dedicated to serving this community. Rocío started her career in MPS as a high school mathematics teacher. She worked with English Learners with varying linguistic backgrounds, bilingual program students, as well as students in the mainstream program. Rocío now serves the district in an administrative role as the bilingual curriculum specialist. She has master’s degrees in curriculum and instruction as well as administrative leadership from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and completed her doctorate in education, K-12 leadership, at Alverno College. www.linkedin.com/in/rocío-trejo
