Biography

Laurie Weaver, a former bilingual teacher, currently is a professor of bilingual and ESL education at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Dr. Weaver is assigned half time to a local school as an Instructional Supervisor where she helped plan and implement the district's first dual language program. Dr. Weaver's interests include biliteracy instruction, dual language education and teacher preparation.
