Biography

Dr. Soomin Chao is an assistant professor at California State University Fullerton. Dr. Chao has worked in public education since 2006 as a teacher, an administrator at elementary, secondary, district and county offices of education, and she is also a former California state commissioner and chair emeritus over the Instructional Quality Commission. Dr. Chao holds a master’s degree in teaching and a doctorate in educational psychology from the University of Southern California.
