Biography

Jessica Marine works as the Project Manager, ELPA Indicator for the Oklahoma State Department of Education. She is also an instructor for Oklahoma State University. Prior to her role at the OSDE, Jessica worked as an ELD Program Administrator for OKCPS for 10 years, developing ELD programs, writing curricula, and delivering high-quality PD for teachers, primarily in secondary schools. She is also closely involved as an alum of Teach for America. Jessica holds a Masters of Education in Educational Administration from the University of Oklahoma. Her research interest are using AI tools to promote language acquisition and exploring English language proficiency assessment data and administration in secondary education settings.
