Biography

Caitlin Blackadder is the Chief Geologist for In Mines Exploration at Vale, overseeing the exploration drill programs for the Ontario operations five mines, the Mines Geophysics department and the Stobie All Mines Logging Facility. A graduate of Laurentian University, Caitlin joined Vale in 2005. She has held a variety of roles in Mines Geology at several sites in Greater Sudbury including Copper Cliff Mine, Garson Mine, Creighton Mine, Coleman Mine, and Totten Mine. Caitlin is registered with the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario and brings a strong technical background to her role, a collaborative focus, a determination about ensuring a safe working environment and an enthusiastic attitude towards Mines Exploration.
