Biography

Alka is a Senior Research Fellow at the School of Management, National Institute of Technology Rourkela. She is doing a PhD in the field of human resources management. Her research employs a mixed-methods approach, with hands-on experience in different research tools and techniques. She has qualified for UGC National Eligibility Test for Assistant Professor three times. She holds an MBA from Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur. She also worked as a Data Researcher at S&P Global Market Intelligence India Pvt Ltd., Ahmedabad. Her research works have been published in the Socio-Economic Planning Sciences journal, Sustainable Development, Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences / Revue Canadienne des Sciences de l'Administration, and Business and Society Review (ABDC, ABS, SSCI, Scopus, Q1, Q2). She is doing peer review for esteemed journals. She has presented her work at various prestigious national and international conferences. Her research areas include social sustainability, employee sustainability, sustainable human resources management, happiness, employees' well-being, and organizational performance.
