Texas A&M University Corpus Christi
Dr. Scarince is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology and Sociology at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi. His research is broadly concerned with how people use visual information to make decisions and complete tasks. His current work at TAMU-CC is focused on understanding how top-down cognitive processes affect how people search for objects. He also collaborates with the Autonomous Research Institute at TAMU-CC to study how cognitive load affects drone pilots and issues related to emergency response operations. Off-campus, he enjoys spending time with his family, which (of course) includes playing with LEGOs.
