Lone Star Analysis
Eric Haney is the Chief Technology Officer for Lone Star Analytics. He has been in this role since 2018 and his previous positions include Deputy CTO and Lead Analyst. Eric has been in integral member of the Lone Star team since joining in 2014.
In his current role, Eric is responsible for guiding the technical direction of the company. He manages the development and roll-out Lone Star’s core software applications, TruNavigatorTM, AnalyticsOSTM, and TruPredictTM. His principal goal is to connect individuals with the information required to make pragmatic, objective decisions. He also chairs the company’s Advanced Research & Development arm, Cipher Alchemy, which focuses on cutting-edge artificial intelligence algorithms and advanced statistical data processing.
In Eric’s previous role at Lone Star, he helped lead the execution of more than 15 client engagements in the aerospace & defense, logistics, and transportation markets. In parallel, he spurred multiple extensions to the TruNavigatorTM software suite to improve analytical capability and increase modeling efficiency.
Eric completed his doctorate in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington culminating in his dissertation, Data Engineering in Aerospace Systems Design & Forecasting. His academic research team’s collaborations with DARPA and NASA have been published in The Aeronautical Journal. His studies before that include graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University.
Eric resides with his wife Kate, daughter Paige, and their basset hound, Sherlock, in Dallas, Texas. They have opened their home to foster dogs through Passport for Paws, and Eric is a proud co-host of the Walnut Hill Annual Crawfish Boil.
