Biography

AJ Emmanuel is a seasoned IT professional with nearly 20 years of experience in e-commerce implementation and digital transformation. A Chartered IT Professional (BCS), he holds certifications in Business Analysis, IT Service Management, and Project Management, as well as a master’s degree in marketing. Based in South East England, he is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration at the University of Derby, with research focused on how Progressive Web App (PWA) adoption impacts e-commerce user experience among UK retailers. An active BAM member, AJ regularly engages in symposia and annual conferences. As a Doctoral Representative, he seeks to champion the voice of PhD students, foster collaboration across the BAM community, and promote the value of BAM membership to new doctoral researchers. Passionate about advancing management research and education, he is dedicated to representing part-time students and contributing to BAM’s strategic vision.
