Ahmed is a first year ophthalmology resident at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. He graduated from the University of Toronto's Medical School with the Golden Stethoscope Award. He then completed a research fellowship in glaucoma and advanced anterior segment surgery at Prism Eye Institute, Toronto, Canada under the supervision of Dr. Ike Ahmed. He is passionate about exploring innovative solutions to addressing barriers in ophthalmic care, medical devices, global health, and medical education.
