Biography

Omar Conte has bachelors in civil engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology (Rolla) and a masters in geotechnical engineering from the University of Arkansas. He has vast experience with geotechnical explorations, remote sensing techniques, deep foundations, soil improvement techniques and slope stability analyses. After finalizing his studies, he worked as mining geotechnical consultant for slope stability of open pit mines around the world based out of Arizona. From there, he went on to work on several major geotechnical onshore and offshore projects in North and South America based out Panama City, Panama. He has participated in several projects around the world such as the Chacao Bridge in Chile, major private developments throughout Central America (Nicaragua, Mexico, and Panama),  Las Vegas Raiders Stadium, Wasatch Peak Ranch Development in Utah, the 4th Bridge over the Panama Canal along with projects in the west, and east coast of the United States. He has recently moved to the West Palm Beach area to continue leading Langan projects in Florida and the region.
