Biography

Dr. Benjamin Bell is a seasoned business leader and presenter with over 20 years of experience in defense technology, specializing in AI and ML applications for simulation, training, human-machine interaction, and decision support. He has led the development of advanced training tools and applications supported by DARPA, Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps customers. Ben has over 100 publications, including the 2021 I/ITSEC Best Paper, and has chaired two I/ITSEC subcommittees in addition to chairing MODSIM (2018) and IT2EC (2025). He holds a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from Northwestern University, master's degrees from Drexel and Embry-Riddle, and is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
