Biography

Kathy Foust was a high school science teacher for 11 years and taught classes such as Chemistry, Physics, and Geology. For the last 3 years she has been the STEM Coordinator for Oak Ridge Schools where her responsibilities include Prek-12 Science Instructional Coach, 9-12 Math Instructional Coach, and working with all 9 schools to strengthen STEM education and maintain STEM Certification. Prior to working in education, Kathy studied volcanology at the University of Texas and is a published scientist in the Bulletin of Volcanology.
