Biography

Rick Provencher is the Senior Vice President with Cavendish Nuclear (USA) Incorporated. In this capacity, he is responsible for establishing and leading business operations in the U.S. In the areas of nuclear D&D, waste management, and environmental remediation and the application of proven technologies that will streamline waste characterization, removal, and disposal efforts. Mr. Provencher retired from the U.S. Department of Energy in 2018 after having served 33 years with the DOE and Nuclear Regulatory Commission. He served 9 years as the DOE Idaho Operations Office Manager responsible to the Office of Nuclear Energy for all nuclear energy research work conducted at the Idaho National Laboratory.
