Biography

Kevin O’Shea is Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry Florida International University. He earned an undergraduate degree with Honors from California State University (1984), Sacramento and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from University of California, Los Angeles (1989). After a two-year postdoctoral position at UT-Austin, he joined the faculty at FIU. Since 1991, his research has focused largely on reactions of reactive oxygen species (ROS)
