Biography

Originally from Manchester, England, I completed my integrated Masters undergraduate degree in Material Science and Nuclear Engineering at the University of Sheffield. My final year research project investigated the dissolution of caesium from hot isostatically pressed ion exchange material using ICP-OES, ICP-MS, SEM/EDX, and XRD. I am currently a postgraduate researcher at the University of Leeds, where I am using ultrasionic backscatter to characterise suspension wastes, my research also involves the application of machine learning and will look at the effect of polymeric additives on the suspensions behaviour.
