Stefani is a PhD candidate and DOE NEUP fellow in the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Georgia Tech. She is also a past recipient of the Roy G. Post scholarship. Her research focuses on using in situ tools, such as IR and Raman spectroscopy, to monitor the composition of Hanford tank waste. Her goal is to develop robust empirical models that will help automate nuclear waste processing.
