Biography

Piet Zuidema has a degree in civil and environmental engineering. He worked for more than 30 years at Nagra - the Swiss organisation responsible for developing disposal solutions in Switzerland. Before retiring from Nagra, he was for 20 years Director of Science and Technology. Besides overlooking R & D in Science and Technology, he was also in charge of many of the big projects of Nagra, including site selection. He was also member of several international working groups and of several advisory boards. Since his retirement, he works as Senior Advisor for several organisations.
