Dr. Mohamed is a senior research scientist in the department of Plant and Environmental Sciences at New Mexico State University. Her research interest is in modeling nutrients and contaminants transport in the surface water/groundwater interaction zone (hyporheic zone), geochemistry and solute transport in the environment, and environmental sustainability.
