Biography

David graduated from the University of Birmingham with a MSci in Physics; his research dissertation looked into the use of DNA molecules as templates for the self assembly of gold nanowires. His PhD was in Nanophysics, studying novel electron microscopy techniques for the structural characterization of nanoparticles at the atomic scale. This involved work with industrial partners to design efficient structural screening techniques of Palladium catalyst particles. With expertise in microscopy and nanostructures/materials, David's interest at Lucideon involves developing new technologies for energy reduction within the sintering process of ceramics to be applicable at the industrial scale.
